FADE IN: INT. CAR

MOLLY has tears running down her face as she drives, the car is in silence. JACOB uses his t-shirt to wipe some blood from his face. The town is empty. Having finished wiping up the blood, he looks out the window, before finally breaking the silence.

JACOB

Where do you think they are?

MOLLY wipes some tears from her face and replies.

MOLLY

Who? There's no-one left.

JACOB

Yeah, but... This town had a population of over 20,000 – They may not be among the living any more, but they don't just disappear.

MOLLY

There's a lot of farmland. They could be.. feeding elsewhere now. Where are we going?

JACOB

Take a left, it's just up here.

CUT TO: EXT. STREET

MOLLY slowly drives up and stops outside a house. They look towards it, the door is open, it all seems empty.

JACOB

Are you ready?

MOLLY

As I'll ever be.

They get out of the car and begin walking towards the house, each with weapons.

CUT TO: INT. ATTIC

Grace has falling asleep. She hears a noise from downstairs that wakens her.

GRACE

JACK?!

There is no reply. Grace sits back and closes her eyes, wanting it all to end. From below, she hears more noises, this time though, accompanied by voices.

MOLLY

(O/C – To JACOB)

Behind you!

Grace's face lights up, she opens the attic door slightly to see if she can see anyone. Looking up at her is MOLLY.

GRACE

Is it safe?

MOLLY

For now. Quickly, get down.
